Do you believe stories about baby car seats used to stop drivers?

Do you actually believe those stories about a baby car seat being left by the side of the road, to get drivers to stop, so they can be attacked?

Seeing as we have so many scammers and dishonest people, yes I’m sure this would be a ruse used by some people. People have been know to set up fake car accidents to make other drivers stop. Impossible to trust people these days.

I've seen films about this kind of stuff in the US , which incidentally is a massive country where people have guns. I'm not sure I've heard it over here in real life.

No, they’re the same variety of hoary old urban myth as the babysitter realising the bad guy is phoning her on the extension, or the escaped mental patient with a hook hand.
