Covid and feeling floored.

Anyone else had Covid recently?

i tested today as I work with vulnerable people in close contact and came up positive instantly.

been feeling heady and coldy since Thursday evening.

thought it was a heavy cold but couldn’t shift the headache and chills and everything aches so thought I’d better check and bam there it is.

holing it doesn’t last too long now

Had it two months ago. Had two duvet days I felt so ill. Day 3 it just became a cold. A month later DIL had it same symptoms. She rested as much as possible for a couple of days. Then soldiered on. Be prepared for the odd bad day for ten days or so.

Be thankful that the heatwave is over that was grim.

yea thank god the heatwave over,hadn’t thought of that

thanks to peri the heatwave was absolutely unbearable so covid at the same time would have been horrendous.

can’t concentrate on anything in particular,can’t sleep so keep semi dozing off but the aching in my joints is dreadful so I have to keep moving then to stop them aching.

im hoping it doesn’t last long

We all had it a few weeks ago and felt just how you describe OP. My sense of smell and taste still isn't right. Lots of rest needed for you.
