Worried about my face after Botox

What did you have done originally? I’ve had a lot of forehead and frown line injections and never had anything migrate to an eyebrow l, that seems really odd.

You know this already but they can’t undo the Botox, if you’re not happy all you can do is ask for a refund? Did they take before pictures to compare against so that you can show your eye has drooped since the first appointment?

It’s a bad sign that she didn’t take your concerns seriously and doing a top up when you’re already experiencing a droopy eye. There are always risks with Botox but her lack of accountability is poor. Unfortunately I don’t think there is much you can do other that wait until it wears off and don’t go to her again.

Botox doesn’t migrate in the same way filler does, it can’t cause lumps. Did you get filler too?

Gosh it is tough, I've had a couple botox sessions (over the last 9 years) that I haven't been happy with and it's rough trying to ride it out. Usually I find that things improve a lot after the first 3.5-4 weeks, if you're 2 weeks post now then you'll hopefully see improvements in a couple weeks.

Maybe try changing your look another way as a distraction, different eye makeup (look at YouTube videos for hooded eye makeup tutorials), eye lash extensions or glasses.

I think the max it spreads out is 1cm unless you have rubbed that area hard within the first hour or so? If the lump is not where she injected then it’s unrelated surely unless you think she is wrong.

I don’t know about the bump, but forehead Botox can make your eyes more hooded if the eye lid skin is not taut to begin with and then you lose the ability to raise your brows. It’s not necessarily ‘gone wrong’ but a sign you need a lighter dose to keep some mobility in your forehead. Ideally she should have started with a light touch and then topped you up if needed at your follow up.

Edited to add Botox peaks at 2 weeks and then will start to wear off, so it’ll get better not worse. You can get eyelid tape on amazon to help manage the hooded look.

Sorry @Botoxx, it’ll sounds like you tried to go to someone reputable and they still did a poor job. You could try to go to another clinic in the area and see their opinion? I don’t know whether they’d be happy to or whether they’d charge you but good to get a second opinion.
