To ask what you think of my autumn/sinter wardrobe?

I’m a size 16-18. I’m asking here as it tends to get a better response than style and beauty! I’ve had to do a huge shop this year as nothing from last year fits me. I’m trying to gather basics but really have no sense of style!

I’ve also picked up things like a cable knit jumper from next, some ankle boots and knee high boots, lots of basic long sleeved tops. Am I headed in the right direction?!

I love the acidic green, i'm wearing eyeliner in that colour. Bright orange is also "in". I can't wait to start wearing knee high boots, they always look good. I've actually been wearing ankle boots all summer this year, i like the look of lace up boots with a feminine skirt. Skater skirts are so practical and you can change the look from casual to smart depending on the tights and boots you wear. The check pattern is perfect.

Apparently, the 'messy' asthetic is in now (thank god, i hate the perfect, plain polished look), so you can wear mis-matched patterns, colours and styles, messy up-dos, etc. Get things with interesting details and accessorise, as long as it's a style you feel comfortable with, you'll look great.
