Where are all the nice oranges?

Haven’t had a nice one in weeks. What’s going on? I don’t remember them ever being this bad.

Waitrose have some speciality Ippolito oranges they are really nice but I think last year they were larger.

You need to wait until the navel oranges appear.

Not in the shops yet. They’re currently selling the end of last seasons oranges which won’t be as nice. Orange season was traditionally from November (which is why we associate them with Christmas).

Sainsbury’s had very nice Jaffa ones from Florida over the summer.

I don't know specifically about oranges, but due to extreme heat and lack of water this year loads of produce is expected to be smaller and lower quality.

Climate change? Oranges need good living conditions to be nice, just like people. Must be lack of water, or overwatering or something wrong in the environment?
