Disabled Parking

Do any of you park in disabled parking spaces? If so, can I ask you why? I’m not talking about mums with baby’s who need to get car seats out

Not left my car there, no. I will confess I have pulled into one to help my 77yo mum get out at the doctor when she was injured and unable to walk far (but it was temporary so no blue badge) but as soon as she was out I drove off and found a space further away. I feel like that was ok but I’m sure people here can tell me if I’m wrong.

No, even with my wheelchair using mother who apparently isnt "disabled enough" to need one.

Mums with baby's have no business being in a disabled space unless they are also disabled 🤣

Mums with babies who need to get car seats out should not be parking in disabled parking spaces unless they have a blue badge.

Nobody should park there EVER unless they are disabled, do you realise what they may be already dealing with that morning before they get to that parting spot?

it’s different with disabled toilets as far as I know, they are equipped for disability but not strictly just for disabilities. I don’t use them either but parking spots are an absolute no no no no no.

Unless the mum is disabled she shouldn't be using the disabled bay either

No - my Dad is disabled and I see how hard for him to get out of the car if there is no space around it.

Because I am disabled, have a blue badge and need the space to get in/out of the car.

You might want to be a bit specific about who it is you're talking about here.

No and as a mum whose had two babies I have never parked in a disabled bay to get them out of the car either, I’m not sure why that would be a valid reason.
