Crying at bake off

I’m glad she had some help because all the twisting and bending for her to cook looked awful and painful.

People are being insane complaining about someone reliant on a wheelchair getting limited physical support, just to slightly redress the disadvantage they face day in day out due to not being able to have full use of their body.

The fact that that baker had said something like she’d noticed that the oven door tips down way too low (but presumably had to use it anyway and then her cake duly rolls out to the floor) shows that the contestant is doing all of the kitchen jobs it’s within her powers to do. But the producers hadn’t set up the oven safely/fairly considering her physical limitations. It could have dropped burning hot cake all over her feet or legs.

If the helper had been cooking for her then the able bodied assistant would have dived in and saved the cake, but they didn’t did they?

To be fair, we did start with a flurry of the usual complaints about diversity Casting/they're all so annoying/it was better in the old days, but we seem to be settling down a bit and hopefully it will be a thread for people who love the show to, as you say, talk about bakes and baking.
