Is this a live in carer with separate facilities that they live in even when not scheduled to work? Or normal care arrangement. If you are offered use of an annex as part of your remuneration then you would potentially be paying bills and for loo roll

No!!
I can guarantee most carers will try very hard not to use a clients facilities when on a call.
What they will use will be minimal
