To absolutely hate this government, and what they are doing to our country? PART 2

A continuation of Thread 1.

Strong words but is is how I feel at this point in time. All of them make me feel physically sick. Why? Well many reasons.. Here are just two.

Eg. They won't release sex crime statistics of immigrants / asylum seekers. Why? Other European countries have done, and it is not pretty. Our gvt gives out a leaflet asking them not to rape the locals. Why? Our gvt has said they won't house asylum seekers next to schools and nurseries, why?

Eg. UK now spends more on benefits than it earns in income tax. Labour have increased this - not reduced it. Astonishing. As they say - "Who can we tax in order to pay benefits to others?" That's Labour's Welfare Secretary. He's describing the priorities of Labour MPs.

In the last financial year, the UK government brought in £331 billion in income tax — and spent even more, £333 billion, on welfare, according to the Office for Budget Responsibility's latest economic and fiscal outlook (obr.uk/efo/economic-and-fiscal-outlook-march-2026/#chapter-6).

More assumptions.

Maybe they are assumptions, but very much based on things you’ve said, like ‘more fool him for getting caught’.

LuckyHazelFox · 24/09/2026 16:45

BIossomtoes · 24/09/2026 16:42

You’re happy to categorise them as all being rapists.

I don't recall doing that. In fact nobody has. I've agreed with the OP that withholding specific data raises more questions in itself.

LuckyHazelFox · 24/09/2026 16:41

I'm not sure I'm happy Cov with the othering of asylum seekers. Categorising as "them".

I must say I didn’t think blossom would do that. So charitably I thought ‘them’ referred to criminal records (rather than people)..

@blossomtoes ‘Of course his convictions are relevant. I bet if he was an asylum seeker you’d be all over them.’

Yes @LuckyHazelFox you’d ‘be all over them’.

Them?

Yes you know that long list of criminal records that all asylum seekers carry with them whilst they travel so we know their background, along with their identity documents.

Ohhh yes I see. Uhm but actually they don’t carry their criminal records or ID. We have no way of knowing who they are where they come from or whether they’ve committed any crimes in the past.

Oh. Fcking hell that’s a problem isn’t? Thousands of unknown undocumented young men coming into the country illegally, with no way of knowing anything about them?

Yeah, it’s a big problem. Sadly some people think it’s totally fine. Even when for example some of these men have raped local women and girls. And even an old man and a young boy too. They’ll still defend them.

It’s a puzzle that.

Sure is.

It’s ok the MoJ will probably be releasing at some point, no need.

I’ll still keep an eye out for redacted / manipulated data, if they do ever release it.

It's a legitimate question that's been asked and needs answering. The poster seems to want to stamp her own take on it. Very strange.

I apologise if that's not the case. When you said "more fool him for getting caught" that what I inferred.

Would concur with that conclusion.

I see Tommy Robinson is calling on supporters to donate £100,000 for Daniel Thomas' defence. Grifters, both of them.

Grifters are always going to grift. Also how much does the tax payers have to pay for Thomas and the two court cases he now currently faces?

OP and @LuckyHazelFox - just post your questions into AI, it would save you a lot of embarrassment.

Just ask whatever is you need to know- eg "Are illegal migrants, on average more likely to be convicted of sexual offences than U.K. nationals?

Or ask if the govt are blocking data, whatever.

Do it and see what it says. You will get a much more informed and balanced response than anything you'll ever get on AIBU.

But of course you know this...

One has to wonder what took you so long to ask your robotic friend for an analysis instead of asking @CoventryCity the same question at least 3 times yesterday. It really would have saved you the embarrassment, not to mention the space you've clogged up.

Mine wasn't. Kind of getting that notoriety and obscurity thing now. 😕

BIossomtoes · 24/09/2026 16:32

LuckyHazelFox · 24/09/2026 16:30

I know he is.

Then why shouldn’t he be described as such?

LuckyHazelFox · 24/09/2026 16:32

ilovesooty · 24/09/2026 16:31

And disappointed he was stupid enough to get caught.

He had no authority as a person on bail with a past conviction to seize anything, let alone be there.

It seems to me by your replies that you condone his actions by being there but are disappointed that he used a knife to slash a boat with a rescue win it.

However you look at it, he committed a criminal act and has been rightly arrested for it.

And disappointed he was stupid enough to get caught.

Good job I've no intention of doing it, since that isn't what I said.
