To call for help from psychic mumsnetters?

I paid for DD and her partner to go on a special trip that has family significance to the partner. His father is terminally ill and the trip is to his birthplace in Croatia. Father is too ill to make the trip himself.

DD and partner moved flats two weeks ago. You can see where this is going… They travel tomorrow morning and he can’t find his passport. It’s most likely in a document folder, I think it’s purple, and they can’t locate the entire folder.

Can any psychics out there help? I am praying to St. Anthony in the meantime.

It has been found! It was in his bag of unmade Lego! Of course 🙄. Which was at the bottom of a wardrobe under loads of clothes.

So bloody relieved. Thanks everyone.

Check the spare tire section in the car and thoroughly under seats etc.

Also check any bookshelves.

It’s not in the bag he was using that first day in the office. I have asked if he could have left it in the office but he thinks not. 🤞

Where did they keep the folder in the old place?

It'll probably have been packed/bin bagged amongst other items from that general area.

Did he have a bag/briefcase/lap top bag when he started the new job that it could jave been left in? The document wallet must be stored safely somewhere. Would he have put in a drawer at work? Hope he finds it and gets to travel.

Sometimes pondering on it in a relaxed way might bring the memory back, which is hared when you are stressing about it, I know. Just go for a walk and have it in the back of your mind.

Thanks. He last saw it when starting new job about a month ago. He remembers it being passed back to him and he thinks he put it in the document wallet with qualification certificates etc.

They then moved to a new flat two weeks ago and he can’t find the document wallet, or the passport. So most likely conclusion is that the passport is in the wallet and the whole thing is “lost”. Hopefully it wasn’t accidentally thrown away after being packed in a bin bag!

The plastic folder will be behind drawer. Tell them to take out every single drawer. Don’t just pull them out

Things fall behind it then get stuck underneath

Have they unpacked everything from the move? If not go through each box even if it is marked clothes/bathroom/ kitchen. If everything is unpacked go through each room and search everything. Look in suitcases, rucksacks. Cupboards. Do they have a car? Look in the boot/glove box.

Thanks. It was copied recently but he remembers it being passed back to him and putting it in the folder (he thinks) This was before they moved though. They can’t find the entire folder.

Did he need to copy it, is it in the printer? Down behind a radiator, under a drawer where its overflowed. All places friends found theirs
