This is my third baby. I had a very difficult second birth, hideous postpartum care and generally terrible first year during Covid. This is a long awaited and much wanted third baby. I want everything to go well. I have two other children at home so I need it to go well and I need to get off to a good start. Please tell me, is a private birth worth it? I don’t live particularly close to any private hospitals and do live close to two NHS ones. I am afraid of being at the mercy of the NHS again and being treated cruelly like last time. We are not flush but we could afford it. However, there are obviously many other things we could spend £10-20k on! Please send me all your advice.
