AIBU to think this content is inappropriate for a 12-rated game?

Aibu to think that this is inappropriate content to say that it has been found in a video game with only a age rating of 12. For context I am taking about blizzard arcade collection
Where in the behind the scene content contains a photo of someone doing the middle finger. And in one of the interviews it has someone calling someone a dickweed.

AIBU to think this content is inappropriate for a 12-rated game?

The BBFC guidance for a 12 rating includes infrequent strong language used in a non-aggressive way and infrequent rude gestures, which I’d say the above falls within. Not every parent is going to agree on what they want their child to see and hear, ultimately.

Is your 12 year old at school. If so then they will have been called much worse than duckweed....if they are anything like you, probably by the teachers

If you don't want your child exposed to it, the you should read the PEGI guidelines in advance so that you understand the sort of content found at each level, rather than complaining about it afterwards. That's what the ratings are for.

Guidelines and my kid knows worse but was worried about somebody else

I wouldn't be worrying on behalf of others. Utterly ridiculous. You'd be horrified at the stuff my 12 year old boys comes out with among his friends. They're way beyond the middle finger I can tell you that!

Agree. I would be suprised if they haven't already come across most if not nearly all of the swear word alphabet at school by now.
