One that lives in the present, is able to compartmentalise, doesn’t overthink, ruminates.

If I have a problem I got over and over it again, it is exhausting, I feel like I live frequently on my mind. Only able to full relax on holidays on when I sleep.

What treatments will help?

I don't overthink anything at all but my mind is extremely twisted and I love every minute of it.

So much better than being normal.

Maybe I should embrace it.

A book called "The subtle art of not giving a fuck". I kid you not.

Will check it out.

I think having teens and being early 50s doesn’t help.

I do enjoy life and get on with things but my mind is always busy, more one I have a problem or kids are struggling with something. I just can’t switch it off,

Wr have about 5 holidays a year. Magnesium and vitamins and exercise help to a certain extent but I think I need something else for the ruminations, analysing, planning,

Following as I am the same, except I can't relax on holiday either. In fact, I get even worse when out of daily routine.

Initially triggered by postnatal anxiety I think, I've been getting worse for 10 years and it is getting harder to find enjoyment in life. It is draining.
