A good friend of mine has recently had a medical procedure leaving a very nasty looking large wound/seeping/stitches…you get the idea! I love my friend and wish her well, I have sent her some goodies and I check in with her regularly, however she has taken to posting close up photos of her wound on facebook/sends them to me on WhatsApp and it’s really hard to stomach as I’m really squeamish! It really turns my stomach to look at it, I do empathise with her but I don’t think it’s appropriate to post these kinds of photos on facebook. Ditto other awful photos that I’ve seen popping up in various groups that I wish I could erase the terrible images from my mind.
AIBU that it’s not appropriate to post these things or at least have a warning and put them in the comments.
What are everyone’s thoughts?
