4 times now in the last couple of weeks when I’ve been waiting at the crossing with my toddlers (luckily in the buggy) 4 different cars haven’t stopped when the lights have turned red. Luckily I’m very aware and probably abit too paranoid about roads so I always wait for the green man and obviously look both ways before I cross.
We live opposite a secondary school, I’m waiting for the day somebody gets run over, the kids have got their heads buried in their phones usually and don’t look, just hear the beeping and cross.
What can I do about this ? Isn’t not stopping at red lights against the law? We’ve managed to get a couple of them on our doorbell so I’m wondering would I be able to complain about this to the council? Realistically would they do anything ?
