To me, it reads like she is the person doing this and has been accused of fraud (or something) claiming when she could be working if she is doing this.

To me it would depend on how much they are doing, someone doing 5 minutes a few times a week and a couple of parcel drops no, but if someone’s doing a couple of hours a day plus out for parcel drops then I would assume they could do some form of work.

Definitely depends on volume. Reselling could be a pretty big business, buying and selling hundreds of items a week and all the associated admin etc that goes with that. If it's that level, yes, it suggests they can work (as they ARE working!) If it's a casual sale every so often, then no

Sorry, yes I see that now. Sorry for being so hasty.

If she is unfit for work and is selling her own used items, then there is no issues. If she is reselling as a side hustle then she would have to tell the DWP as she would be classed as self-employed (but no pressure to make a certain amount), but what she earns is classed as income.
I do know several people who are unfit for work, but sell bits online.

What?! Selling on vinted takes seconds. A few photos to upload and no personal interaction, and then just taking the parcel down to a locker to post. It doesn’t mean someone is capable of working if they say they’re not, especially with things like autism etc. My teenage son has autism and attends a specialist school for children and teens with autism and sells a lot of things on vinted.

No. Selling things on Vinted is not working, and certainly not a job.
It also has the flexibility of being something to do when you’re strong/well/able and that can be left when you’re not.

Depends if they’re running a business doing it or just a few mins casually here and there. One of my friends runs a Vinted selling business and spends hours in it each week, plus admin, customer contact, deliveries.

Yep, I have a friend who is employed a few hours a week by his friend. He would never get a job in other places.
