AIBU to be worried about no replies from girlfriend?

I meet my girlfriend once, maybe twice a week. On other days, I try to message her and send flirty comments, things like "love you" and the like. On days when we've just met up, she will reply straight away with other comments, often more flirty than mine! However, on other days, she never replies at all. I can see from app that she's read them, but never get a reply. Is this a sign that she's not interested any more? Of the two of us, she is the more outgoing one so would expect her to say something if she wanted end. She is also more friendly with other guys recently. Do you think it would be unreasonable for me to end relationship over this?

It may just be a case of ‘out of sight, out of mind’. So, yes, she’s probably not that into the relationship. Or maybe, you’re coming across too needy (of her attention) and should get on with your own life in between meet-ups like she’s doing.

"love you" isn't flirty. It's either affectionate or stifling, depending on the recipient's pov.

This is like asking if water is wet.

Come on now the answer is clear.

You can talk to her about it but it all comes down to what an individual needs to feel secure in the relationship. I personally don’t think it’s OK to just not reply. It’s rude. Unless the other person is bombarding you with messages. I’d raise it, ask why she doesn’t reply and go from there
