AIBU to oppose housing 1,000 undocumented young men near Piddington?

We dont need anymore undocumented young males.

1000 proposed to be housed near Piddington. Young males from a different culture.

AIBU to agree with them. Enough undocumented males. Too many males overwhelming a small population. 😪

I am not a resident of Piddington but if I was I would have no problem with it. Immigration has always brought culture and breathed new life into our stale neighbourhoods. New food, new traditions to celebrate, new wonderful languages to be introduced to. What's not to like?

What if the people of Piddington liked things just the way they were?

Surely they will be documented as they are placed there.

Piddington doesn't look stale, it looks lovely. What jobs are young undocumented males going to do. Maybe retrain as care workers? Perhaps training and assistance with language and assimilation might be useful.

There is a leaflet they hand out.

But I bet if it didn’t affect piddington they’d be joining the “all welcome here” marches and condemning anyone saying we had an immigration problem.

Yes I agree they didn't take any notice when housed elsewhere. However, doesn't mean they should ignore the problem coming to them. Should everyone just ignore it because they are housed in cities or hotels in areas of higher population. Because others ignored it, should they.

Go ahead. Close your borders. Surround yourselves with walls and barbed wire. Typecast anyone from a different culture. Live in your cosy bubble, uncaring about anyone else. But don't expect any help from the rest of us. Sort out your own schools, healthcare, power supplies, water etc..

I think the government should take Piddington seriously. And let them be independent. Of course they’ll have to raise the money to reimburse government for use of the roads, they won’t be entitled to the nHs or schools, and will have to arrange to provide all the services councils provide such as bin collection etc. I say they crack on.

In that cohort of males from a different culture will be a mixture of men. Some nice and some predators or criminals or previously part of terrorism organisations. Where are they from? What are their intentions? Seriously, my opinion is we are creating more and more problems.
