Even British born men have to have these things written down for them because apparently they don’t know how to act.

If you go to any school, college, university, prison, hospital, hotel, approved premise etc there will be written signs reminding men on how to behave.

Many places will have actually leaflets given out or things like sexual harassment policies in the workplace because British men don’t know how to behave (although funnily enough they don’t forget how to behave around other men).

However, I would not want 1000 men undocumented, documented, British, non-British etc to be housed near me.

I’m struggling to find the reasoning for it tbh.

1000 people trying to find jobs, needing a doctors, dentist etc is a lot for one small area.

I would also be concerned about attracting criminals to the area who try and exploit them (unless that’s why they want them all together to reduce this).

Why not just spread them out more across different areas.

I guess there’s a good reason for having them all together but not sure if it’s the right decision.

This is quite annoying. Goodness knows I am no fan of Reform but people have to be able to talk about what they want on here.

I feel like this forum has been targeted by Reform and all the right wing cronies who so far have failed to get the more intelligent gender on board with their rhetoric.

Hopefully Labour ministers will work on legislation to restrict anti immigration talking points on public platforms before it spreads amongst the lower classes.

The “vast majority” of them are really, really not genuine refugees. According to an article in the Times (Sept 6th this year), a whistleblower at the Home Office has said that “At best 1 per cent of asylum seekers are genuine. There’s almost no aspect of the asylum system that isn’t either a massive fraud or just really dysfunctional. Nothing works as it should.” He said “staff … feel unable to challenge even the most obviously false claims.” There are apparently “block applications” from Pakistanis purporting to be gay, for example. “ An undercover BBC investigation exposed a shadow industry of law firms and immigration advisers charging thousands of pounds to help asylum seekers lodge fake claims pretending to be gay.” There’s also the fact that it’s so much easier to process a successful claim than to reject someone. The whole system is rigged in the (economic) migrants’ favour, especially as most of them actually come on a student, visitor or work visa.

All I can say is there is a hotel a couple of streets away from me, near the high street, which housed people like the ones in question for a couple of years. Many of us never knew until there was a notice in the local paper that the people had been relocated and the hotel was back to business as usual.

During the time they were there, the 'boat people' were free to come and go as they pleased, a few of them found some casual, part time work, they caused no trouble and there was no increase in asb or crime.

There's no point worrying in advance, don't believe everything you read in the media and if there is a public protest, that is bound to stir up trouble.

Most of these folk will be relieved to be here and keep their heads down.

Go ahead. Close your borders. Surround yourselves with walls and barbed wire. Typecast anyone from a different culture. Live in your cosy bubble, uncaring about anyone else. But don't expect any help from the rest of us. Sort out your own schools, healthcare, power supplies, water etc..

They are not refugees nor true asylum seekers, they are infact economic migrants who have travelled through multiple safe countries before arriving in the UK.
Where would I house these men why thats simple id return them to their own countries on arrival so no asylum claims, no housing or free NHS treatment just take them off the boats check their id where possible with fingerprints etc and where not genetic ancestry and strontium isotope test and then fly them back to their country of origin.
The worst thing starmer did was revoke the immigration act that prevented these men from claiming asylum.

Looks like a hostel. But how basic it is has no bearing on whether its guests are free to roam around Piddington. Which is what worries Piddington. We are looking at cultures that never had the Enlightenment, see women as objects to be owned, and have a different view of in and out groups from ours. That is problematic.
