Dan Thomas, leader of Reform in Wales has resigned as party leader having been arrested for assault and coercive control. He's been bailed pending investigation.
AIBU to think he can't be an MS any more until the investigation concludes? How could any woman feel able to approach his office now? Obviously he's not been found guilty yet but he simply can't do the job until (and provided) he is cleared. Why would he resign as leader and not from his constituency work?
YABU - Dan Thomas should keep his job until the investigation concludes.
YANBU - People deserve an MS that can represent them, that they can turn to when they are vulnerable. Dan Thomas is not that.
