AIBU to find Dawn French's latest Trump comments more sad than funny?

I can't link Dawn French's latest rant, about Trump, but, if anyone else has seen it, do you find it funny. Or just feel very sorry for her?

Besides the fact that no one knows if it's true, there is a treasure trove of things he has done of comedic value that making up something is just strange.

Every President has had a book of gaffs, mistakes, offenses, but President Trump is starting to get an encyclopedia built up. "His ego exceeds the limits of his intelligence", which is basically what I say about every politician.

If one looks a bit, I don't think there has been too many Presidents, if any, in the last 90 years or so without a bucketful of crap on their heads. Probably back much father than that, but most citizens were not as aware as they became after the invention of telecommunication, radio, TV.

The point is it wasn't funny and comedians should really try to be quick witted and entertaining or else they make tits of themselves as demonstrated perfectly by French.

I never thought she was funny and struggled to understand how she managed to have a career in comedy. Because of the BBC I guess.

I'm all for calling Trump out but I don't think this is the way to do it.

She's just an over privileged celeb like Margolyes who has had people simping and fawning over her for years. She thinks she's funny. Let's hope someone will tell her to stop as it's utterly cringeworthy.

So cringe and about as funny as syphilis. Surely this kind "edgy" slapstick humour is about ten years out of date, does she think she's saying something original. She just sounds a bit thick and desperate but I guess she's playing to her audience...

Comedians should stick to being funny instead of trying to get involved in politics. It usually works about as well as when politicians try to be funny.

Yes I do think she’s hilarious, mostly as a writer and I still LOL at French and Saunders sketches.
