To be absolutely shaken up having to take avoiding action swerving around a pedestrian walking on an unlit A road at dusk on the wrong side of the road ( my direction) in khaki rucksack with camouflage jacket and trousers oblivious to the traffic behind them ( lorry behind me, van in front was v v close to them, i tried to give them more room ). I had to pull over and take a breather. Still got visions in my mind of potential consequences; reading the Highway Code should be mandatory for all road users. Rant over.
