AIBU to have regular sized tables and chairs at a party for 3-year-olds?

We have booked a village hall for my sons 3rd birthday and planning to book a bouncy castle & will do some other small activities like colouring area/dancing etc. We are inviting mainly nursery friends - probably around 15 children.

Main thing I’m struggling on is around eating arrangements. I was planning on making little picnic boxes and the kids sitting to eat together. The hall only has adult sized chairs and tables. Does anyone see this as an issue for 3 yr olds? My son is fine sitting at the table without a booster now, are other kids this age the same? Am I overthinking this? 😂 Don’t want to cause any issues for parents so would appreciate some other perspective!

You could put picnic blankets on the floor

Yeah of course it’s fine. If the kids struggle to reach they can just stand to nibble the corner of the sandwich before they run off to attempt to squish the pom bears into the bouncy castle. I can’t even recall what sized furniture we had for any of the parties mine went to when they were nursery age, and I have a 5YO so it’s hardly like it was ages ago.

We had a village hall booking for my son’s 2nd birthday years ago, they looked so cute sitting in the adult chairs with their faces peeping over the top of the table. There was picnic food, nothing hot and we had a few paper cup spills but it was totally fine. They all had a blast and felt very grown up.

Oh and I’d probably go for fruit shoots/water bottles in that style so there’s no chance of knocking drinks over if they’re struggling to reach.

It's fine. They can kneel on the chair if they are too low, but I expect most will be fine, especially for party food.

Blankets on the floor. Although in my experience none of them will stay still for longer than 5 minutes and most of them will eat practically nothing. Apart from cake and crisps.
