Just seen a video of a trans woman minding her business in a train station getting horribly bullied by some Tommy Robinson wanna-be and couldn't help but think back to all the aggressive threads I've seen on Mumsnet. Pages and pages of vilifying innocent trans people, calling them perverts and all sorts with zero evidence of anything of the sort of course would lead to people like this harassing and attacking trans people in public. I've see a few of so-called GC brigade say 'this isn't what we wanted' but it is the end, isn't it? If you do see trans people as disgusting abusive perverts trying to sneak into your changing rooms and hurt your daughter, you'd want them to be bashed in public yeah? Am I wrong to think their chickens are coming home to roost and certain posters will want to claim they never had a hand in it all?

No, that's all been talked through in court cases in the last few years. It is not illegal to state the truth that a man cannot become a woman. It's just fact. That a man may find it distressing does not make it illegal.

Pointing out the actual cases in which a man has used his trans status to access victims is also not illegal.

As for her being banned, I don't know, maybe she is secretly one of the first two posters because they all appear to be saying the same things. Than anyone deemed to be wearing feminine clothes when you think they shouldn't is a dangerous perverts who want to hurt women and children. How you can say those things and no expect people to eventually take matters into their own hands is beyond me.

I don't think it's an extreme view that most people believe paedophiles should be immediately jailed if not shot in the street. To continue to tar an entire group of people, with absolutely zero evidence, is incitement. The same as saying all immigrants are rapists. If you go around spouting that you can't then be shocked when they try to burn down the hotels.

Report posts that contain anything you feel is 'hate speech' - whatever that actually is - and if HQ agree it will be deleted. This board is moderated, probably and historically more harshly than anywhere else. Women aren't really supposed to be blunt about their betters.

A fair amount of the swiss cheese posts historically too, were down to TRAs who got so fed up at the lack of anything demonstrably hateful that they joined up, posted awful things themselves and instantly screenshotted it on Twitter as it was, to prove it was happening on MN. This is the level of infantile moral-devoid nonsense women are having to put up with. Hence now the length of time needed on this board before you can join and a huge list of PBPs.

Have there been any comments from the anti-womens' rights posters, regarding the 'terf is a slur' site? Or the vitriol on Reddit? Or the threats ? Or shouting down with loud hailers when women meet?

I haven't seen the aforementioned video, that sparked this thread.
Sounds unpleasant but it's not the fault of women!

It wasn't an insult I was just shocked by the idea that because I keep normal hours I was accused of doing a 'plop and run' and my supposed 'silence' was seen as some sort of failure when I was just sleeping/at work/having a life.

Maybe you all are retired or SAHM but it's odd that those of us who have to work and not spend all day on this post are being shamed for it.

Yep. Women are always used as playing chips in men's cultural wars. Our role in this is to visually perform their cultural values, whether that means wearing the veil or unrobing with trans women. And they fight each other with fury over which group of men gets to decide what "good" women must do.
