I think that too sometimes, but then I remind myself that it is a few posters on here that have been terrible for my MH, and not the site itself. Some people get personal, and there is no need for it.

I use a PC most of the time - I've got hand deformities so find small screens incredibly difficult. I use voice commands on my phone though, they really are a massive help.

WRT MN and poor mental health, the trick is to take everything with a pinch of salt. Stories are embellished, salaries and house prices are increased, puddings are overegged and the salads are massive.

Yes, people can be bloody horrible at times. Try and bear in mind that they clearly cannot be happy in themselves. Perhaps the massive salary is earned solely by a husband who is never there. The brand new Audi could be on crippling HP. The private schooling might mean there is nothing left over for holidays, meals out and other fun things. The SAHM could be lonely and bored out of her mind. The awful people here are not happy with their lot and are unable to count their blessings. Don't let them get you down because you don't deserve to be burdened by a complete strangers unhappiness.

Of course, but when the immediate response is read more carefully, before she's had a chance to see what she's done it's hardly likely to encourage her to do so. If the poster she'd misread had simply pointed out that she'd got confused, withou the unnecessary snarkiness, then she'd probably have admitted her mistake.
