Do I act cool or keen to get dream job?

I applied for a great job around two weeks ago, I passed the initial stage, then a video interview with the recruiter and then the employer himself called me and asked to meet in person.
At the time we were on holiday and returned back today. I told him we were travelling last week but would we be able to schedule for Monday 14th. He said yes that was absolutely fine and I said great and to just contact me closer to the day with a time that suited him to meet. He replied fantastic, that he would do and thank you.
I've not heard from him, I am available during school hours any day at the moment, so can be flexible as in, it could be anytime for me not necessarily tomorrow.
Should I message?
Could he have found someone else? The position required is very niche in experience needed for where we are and in all honesty, I can't see him having found someone (fingers crossed!)
It seems too late to message now to arrange for tomorrow?

Do I wait for him or message tonight/tomorrow?

To add-very wealthy family, travel lots, potentially are away/have forgotten?

You should go!

This is where your husband or partner steps in and completely clears the decks for you to focus on this meeting

Thinking this is a wind up. .just say no to your dream job...don't waste the manager's time. Your clearly not that keen.

He said Tuesday no problem at all, phew, thanks all, it felt too last minute, I can prep all day tomorrow

Definitely think from now you should act as keen as you are! If a potential employee seemed indifferent to me it wouldn’t fill me with confidence.

Be keen but also be professional! I interviewed someone this week who was desperate for the job - I don’t doubt her passion for the role and the company but by the end of it she was at the bottom of the list of anyone I’d ever employ because she was so OTT about being “whatever you need”.

Good luck! Hope it goes well!

I would contact them tomorrow with a polite. ‘Hi, hope you are well. I wanted to drop you a note to follow up on my interview. During our meeting you indicated that we might meet up on Monday 14th for a meeting in person. Please let me know if you would like to meet today or later this week.’

ideally you would have asked last week if the meeting was still Monday.

Perfect.
