To not really fancy a "winter of hardship to beat Putin"

I would rather he had various bits of Ukraine than I have a winter of hardship I don't really care about Ukraine (and I think at least some people in said various bits would like to join Russia anyway, who am I to stop them)

Why do we have to keep getting involved in far away stuff

You're not obeying him he's nothing to do with you

Unless you live in Ukraine in which case fair play by all means go for the hardship

But right now you're obeying some pro war guy because he wants to win an ego battle with some other war guy, I think?

Aside from the plight of Ukrainians who don’t want to join Russia, you do know that he wouldn’t stop at the Ukraine, right?
