To think that a naturist spa centre like the ones in Europe would be a wild success in the UK?

I'm fine with them, but I'm not sure what the appeal is. We stayed in a decent spa hotel last year, and most of the guests went nude. We did have a lady politely admonish us for wearing swimwear one day, but really what difference does a few pieces of cloth make to the experience?

Brighton has one. There's also Rios in kentish town although it's definitely not upmarket.

I don’t think it would be as successful in the UK. There’s a section of my local beach that attracts nudists, most of them keep out of the way where people don’t walk. They are largely old men. I find it utterly bizarre, why do these people need to be naked, makes no sense to me and just seems seedy.

I don’t want to see people’s flappy dangly bits when I’m trying to relax. I went to a nudist beach in Belgium once in my twenties with DH and it was just full of creepy older men walking past very slowly and staring at me. I think one with strict sex segregation of facilities, like we have in East Asia, would be workable. Still not sure if it’s for me but at least I wouldn’t feel preyed on.

I went textile free in a spa in Bavaria a few weeks ago, so did my DH after some cajoling.

we loved it and found it liberating but it was strange seeing unfamiliar penises after only seeing one for so many years.

i really don’t know if it would take off in the UK as I feel the British are more likely to point stare giggle and generally lower the tone.

fleeting glances are only natural but sadly I think the British public would be far more inclined to stare and make others feel uncomfortable

Yes Im sure it would. We have a spa near us that does specific days naturist.
