Fireworks

Every fucking night there are fireworks being let off near me. It used to be just bonfire night. But its all the time now. Tonight has been a house warming. Last week it was a christening. The other occasions I have no idea. My poor cat gets so stressed. It just feels so selfish at such a late time too.

I love a firework but they need to be restricted to public/religious holidays only

Although that said, today is the Jewish New Year, I am unsure whether today is a day of celebration xx

Yes it's the start of Rosh Hashanah I understand. But celebration is at the end. I am respectful of celebrating religious holidays but not every bloody night.

Fireworks aren't a Rosh Hashanah thing - it's not really a 'loud' kind of holiday! It marks the beginning of a period of self reflection and prayer.
