To have something sweet/ pudding every day after dinner?
kind of thought the majority did this but after talking to friends maybe not. So for example after dinner every night will have something sweet eg bar of chocolate, biscuits

We do and so do the kids. Everything in moderation.

No. I sometimes have fruit, but I usually have fruit after lunch or later in the afternoon, rather than after dinner.

No, I'm fat so can't afford to routinely have pudding :(

Oh definitely OP. I'm ashamed to say my ice-cream after dinner is quite literally often the highlight of my day. I do try and eat quite healthily and don't eat in between meals at all so I always think I' ve earned my bowl of Mackies.

Fleurdalys · 10/09/2026 18:04

Never?

Only at the weekend here

Some do, some don’t. Not sure about the majority though.

We do occasionally but more often than not we don’t.

I think as people become more health conscious its less likely people will do it.

Not me or anyone I know

Yes, normally I have a small amount of ice cream, with strawberries. Or a piece of chocolate. When I was a child we'd always have tinned peaches, tinned pears or tinned fruit salad with Elmlea. I think it stems from there. On a Sunday 'high tea' we'd finish with a slice of battenburg ir a French fancy too.
