I slammed the door a lot and broke something in the kitchen I talked non stop all this because I lowered the dose of antidepressants and antipsychotics I had prediabetics and felt the antidepressants stopped working I feel bad I have since upped my meds but still talking a lot and find it hard to stop talking if I’m extremely distressed I only slammed the door occasionally I’ve got a social worker who says I can live a foster family

What exactly do you get out of posting here op?

It’s just somewhere to vent safely, I think. From long experience of her previous posts, she won’t actually engage with anyone. Not in any coherent or constructive way, anyway.

This has been going on for years and massively pisses me off. You need to think about your child for a change. You are the adult and you should be making sure that she is being looked after properly. I bear the severe mental scars from having a mother who expected me to look after her when she should have been looking after me. I doubt you will listen to this.

Oh, lovely

PurpleLovecats · 25/09/2026 21:43

Oh this is still ongoing. Your poor daughter.

You mentioned upthread your social worker thought they could find you accommodation, “foster”. Are you agreeing to that? I really hope so as I think that would be so beneficial to you and to your ex and daughter.

SeptemberRains · 25/09/2026 21:40

He is extremely tolerant. And your 11 year old daughter is the one suffering the most.

If I had the money I would buy the house

But you don’t and can’t. Even if you could you would be on ypur own. Focus on finding something manageable by yourself and with your mh instead of fantasising about a life that is not available and a relationship which does not exist. He feels trapped, which is why he avoids you.

How can you buy his house?

Focus on finding somewhere to rent before he makes you homeless and you won't be given a choice where you live.

Is the social worker helping you find a place to live now? You need to leave.

Your ex is keeping himself locked away in his room because he doesn't want to be around you and is preventing arguments by staying away from you, locked in a room in his own house and wanting to not have to listen to you on the phone all the time doesn't make him an asshole. Talk outside if you need to be on the phone so much.

Think you are lucky he hasn't kicked you out and made you present as homeless. He's being more tolerant than many people would be.

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 18/09/2026 01:20

Where is your daughter now @Purplehearts45?

Purplehearts45 · 18/09/2026 01:19

He hates it when I talk a lot I’m still living with him he’s a intolerant asswhole he keeps him self locked away in his room he gets annoyed if I’m the phone alot

I think I remember you. You two broke up awhile ago but you're still living in his house and he's waiting for you to move?

I expect anything and everything you do is going to annoy him at this point. Are you any closer to being ready to move out?

Have you moved out? You are focussing again on the actions rather than your mh and impact on others . Maybe listen to your sw .

SerendipityCat · 10/09/2026 12:22

Given your previous posts, op, it sounds like the Shared Lives scheme would be an excellent idea for you. How do you feel about it?

Chunkybabythighs · 10/09/2026 12:20

Are you still living with your ex husband and tween?

whippersnapper55 · 10/09/2026 12:18

I remember your previous posts OP, are you still living in your ex partner's house?
