Cost per use, my iPhone probably costs pennies. And that’s not a good thing I guess.😳

Duo looks great but I’m not interested in folding phones.
I have the 14Pro so pre ordered the 18pro which arrived today, i generally upgrade every 3-4 years if there are enough improvements to warrant it.

2k is a lot but it’s not just a phone, it’s a portable computer. Tbh, I think that the cost of all phones will rise significantly due to AI inflating the cost of memory chips.

I don’t mind the cost, but what is a concern is that it might increase the risk of phone theft.

I think people do use phones a lot.

In that sense you can kind of justify spending a large amount of money on them, because you use them for hours a day and there are a large amount of things you can do with them, communicate, games, music, tv, camera and video camera, internet etc.

Not sure I am fashion conscious enough to need this. Plus now on Android.

A37 for less that 1/4 the price a month or so ago. It's a nice phone.

Sure you probably can't play the latest games on it or get it in a gold tint. But who really cares.

A duo would be fun I guess, but I don’t prioritise screen size as much as a camera, and the duo would be a downgrade to my 17 pro max.

I’ve found the launch underwhelming, and I like Apple stuff.

I am also uncomfortable with the idea that £2k is an acceptable amount for a phone. As a society I think it’s important not to buy into and encourage that. If Apple can see people are willing to pay £2k, their future products are going to prey on that.

Depends how much you use it. Personally I use a phone much more than my laptop so happy to put money there. I have a work laptop, and MacBook Air for personal use, but my MacBook rarely gets used.

I had a bag from an old mobile used to use it for uni, they are great bags, that took me back.

They look great, but the price for me for much to high I got as far as the pro max 13 so I’ll stick with that on my sim only plan, till it dies!

I can’t fathom spending more on a phone that a new iMac Pro laptop.

I love the look of it. It’s part of the appeal to me. I prefer the squarer screen to the long thin one that you usually get on a phone

I'll get a new phone when mine is no longer functioning well. I have a 16 so I think it should function well for at least a couple more years. I'm not sure I can be bothered opening and shutting a folding phone when I could just have an ordinary one. I don't really see the point.

I love a new phone and often upgrade mine far earlier then is necessary. I thought I would be desperate to get the fold but I really don’t like the look if it. The shape of it when folded is short and stumpy looking. I do have a pro max iPhone though so used to a decent sized handset.

I am old enough to remember when "car phones" were a thing and when you needed a bag to carry the first portable phones.

Then they got smaller and smaller and fit easily into pockets and purses. I loved them! Flip phones were my favorite of them all.

It seems that little by little we are going back to the "I need a bag to carry my phone", not because of the weight but because they are getting bigger and bigger.

I will probably get the iPhone duo as I travel a lot and it will save me carrying an iPad. I’m due an upgrade and was going to get an iPhone Air, but I think this is better.

Not interested in Apple watches as they’re too chunky. I think they only work on people with large wrists. I wish they’d do a slimmer female friendly version.

Pre ordered the watch in dark bronze. The features are great. I’ll get the foldable phone next year as I have a 17 pro max just now that does the job.

I had a top notch apple phone about 2 years ago through work. Moved jobs, bought a secondhand phone from Samsung. Literally no difference in usability or functionality.

Nope. Never understood apple and yet to buy any apple anything. Happy with my 8 year android phone. Happy with my £6 monthly rolling contact of unlimited text and data. Only have to give a month notice. Sim free

Not sure I like the idea of a foldable phone - won’t crumbs etc get stuck in the fold? Also, I heard somewhere they are touch ID only which doesn’t work for me. The 16 is the first time I’ve had face ID, I couldn’t go back to touch. I could be wrong though. It’s a while until I replace the 16 as the battery is still good, that’s always the limiting factor for me. Usually the battery gets unreliable after 4 years approx.

I love Apple products and you will have to prise my iPhone out of my pocket when I die. I do like the look of the foldable ones and will more than likely get one when the contract on my current phone runs out if the prices come down a bit by then.

Literally yesterday I said to a random guy on the plane next to me (we were stuck on the tarmac for 3h and ran out of things to talk about clearly 😂) that apple wouldn't ever do a fold up model. Well I look like a fool 😂

I'll never buy a Pro because I don't use my phone in a way that it would be worth the money but I don't generally have a problem buying Apple products, I think they're worth the money tbh...except the AirPods, I'm yet to try some that don't suck

I have a perfectly adequate older phone and a £12 contract with unlimited data and minutes. By the time my phone kicks the bucket, we'll probably be on iPhone 50. Until then, I am not really even remotely aware of what's out there let alone have any intention of buying anything.
