AIBU to be woken up at the weekend?

Been pondering over this for a while.

Weekend away with friends. What is a reasonable time to be woken up on a Saturday/Sunday morning?

Honestly, that's something you kind of decide the night before! And, as pp, what the plans are. 8am is the absolute earliest I would wake someone else, and only if there was something we wanted/needed to get to. But I prefer a lazy start on a weekend so I'd always make it clear before booking a weekend with friends to make sure we had similar expectations. Note, if you mean woken up by someone in the kitchen making themselves a cup of tea then all bets are off really.

Well it's hard to say really without knowing what the plans for the day are.

Depends on the plans for the day, the agreements made and how much fun was had the night before. When I go away with friends, despite being an early riser with kids, I appreciate a relaxed start.
