Masked men at Dover - KKK vibes

MumofCandR · Yesterday 11:53

They are utter cowards and hypocritical. The same ilk will state they're against the burkha and protests by environmental groups etc. but are happy to mask their faces in 'protest' the reality is they're just nasty specimens of humanity, full of people with self righteous white supremacy tendencies. AIBU.

Neither should those purporting to be working with victims of VAWG be sharing sensitive information, but that never seems to stop them.

There is a big difference between improperly sharing information and illegally breaching the official secrets act, which is a criminal offence.

Yet oddly enough Kent Police reported no arrests were made 🙄
So where were these"thugs" you speak of?

Did you read upthread with the link to an article explaining the silent marches of the KKK?
I bet they and their supporters would just say "they're just peacefully walking, where's the thugs?"
It's done to intimidate and you're blind if you can't see that. Or agree with them.

I know you love making random accusations, but please point to where anyone has shared sensitive information.

It us also out there, stop being so ignorant

Here’s the best evidence that’s ’out there’ . ONS data on characteristics of victims.

Black and Mixed-ethnicity adults had significantly higher overall sexual-assault victimisation than White, Asian or Other adults. Narrowing the focus on rape specifically, there is no statistically significant difference between ethnicities.

So tell us where to find it then. Because I've looked as well and I can't find any data to support your claim.
No one with hard evidence to support their claims ever refuses to reveal it. They are keen to prove themselves right.
The people who say "look for yourself" "I'm not here to educate you" "do your own research" without so much as one credible reference are invariably making it up as they go along.

If you are a civil servant dealing with sensitive data such as this, then you will have signed the official secrets act, and should under no circumstances be disclosing details from that data on social media.

A failed asylum seeker jailed for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old schoolgirl has lost his bid to avoid deportation after a judge ruled he was not bisexual and remained a danger to Britain.

Karam Majdi, 27, had claimed in a last-ditch asylum appeal that he could not be sent back to Egypt because he is bisexual and would face persecution.

But a judge has dismissed his appeal in full – finding that his deportation 'was and remains in the public interest'.

His immigration tribunal also rejected Majdi's claim to be Syrian and found his account of relationships with men was inconsistent and unsupported by evidence.

Judge R Abdar concluded: 'I am satisfied that the appellant has failed to rebut the presumption of the appellant posing a danger to the community.

'I am not satisfied that the Appellant is bisexual.'

Majdi, who arrived late to his hearing last month, now faces deportation after serving half of his seven-year sentence for the sex attack on the girl he met online in 2017. He is accused of lying that he was an unaccompanied child from Syria who had been fighting in Aleppo when he arrived in the UK by small boat in 2016.

The rapist had been living in a hostel in Hove when he travelled to East Croydon and assaulted the girl in what the judge described as an 'opportunistic' and 'vile' attack that left the victim's thighs black and blue.

He pinned her down, despite her protestations, his trial heard.

Majdi, who claims his identity documents were lost at sea on his way to Britain, was sent to a youth offender institution before his release in 2021.

In his latest bid to fight deportation and remain in the UK, Majdi told the authorities he is bisexual.

This was initially considered by the Government – before it was reviewed and challenged by the Home Office the day before his appeal hearing.

At the deportation tribunal it was heard that he was deemed 'high risk to children'.

Why were they protesting at Dover's port? Do they have something against hauliers, or people off to Brittany on their hols? Why did they all feel the need to wear head to toe black, and ski masks? It's almost as if they were told to wear the get up to look intimidating, otherwise surely most of them would have been in trackies, jeans or shorts and t-shirts.

Maybe they don' like fairies?🧚‍♀️🧚‍♂️🧚‍♀️

Bollocks! I havent seen pro palestine demonstrators with balaclavas on. When the police are busy arresting 70 year old women who are sat on the pavement holding a piece of cardboard those women are definitely not hiding their faces - probably because they aren't cowards.

Those thugs in Dover dont dare show their faces - how very brave of them 🙄🙄

Daniel Thomas has quite the background.

Thomas – who goes by the name Danny Tommo – was handed a two-year sentence in 2016 for an attempted kidnap after targeting the wrong man. He and two others arrived at the victim’s home in Hampshire armed with knives. Portsmouth Crown Court heard how they punched him, pinned him against a wall, grabbed and pulled his T-shirt, trying to force him from his home. But their victim resisted, clinging to the door frame. The bungling perpetrators fled in a car, shouting: “We’ll be back.” However, realising they had got the wrong person, one of the trio later sent the victim a Facebook message apologising.
Meanwhile, Thomas was said to have made inflammatory comments online in the wake of last year’s attack on a children’s dance class in Southport. Hope Not Hate (HNH) says on its website: “Daniel Thomas (AKA Danny Tommo), Tommy Robinson’s associate... shared a video in the hours after the Southport attack claiming that ‘we need to do something very extreme’ and ‘every city needs to go up’. Two days later, Thomas would lead a demonstration at Whitehall at which more than 100 people would be arrested.

Your tone is so grim. You asked me the same question I’d already answered, and now you’re demanding an answer to something else. I’ve responded to you in good faith, wondering why bothered since you’ve nothing to contribute yourself.

Do your own research, come to your own conclusions, then maybe we can have a meaningful discussion. Or not, I don’t mind.

It doesn’t seem very workable or thought through. Ik you’re probably realising it wouldn’t work.

How many people accepted by the other method would ‘massively reduce arrivals’?

You’ve no idea what organisation I work for, but in any case how could I possibly know information that you claim the government is concealing?

I’ve told you what I know: not one skin tone or religion is a guarantee of safety for women. If you’ve evidence to the contrary, share it so we can all keep women and girls safe.

ETA: don’t know why @Dersie was deleted, it’s not actually the worst thing I’ve seen her say. Usually better to let people see what kind of person they’re dealing with I think.

Right wing thugs are given free reign in this country. Most of them are just itching to slap a woman around as well. Just watch the video of that man at the Reform conference

Right wing thugs? What about Left wing thugs or do they not count? Think the trans activists, Antifa, Stop Oil, Free Palestine are all angels? All violence should be dealt with regardless of which side they are on. Oh yes and I watched the video when a Left Wing Activist broke the back of a policewomen with a sledgehammer.

Im privy to this info as im a civil servant, thats all im willing to disclose.
Even if any the women and children that have been attacked so far were black by these illegal immigrants, are you actually saying this is ok? Because it sounds to me like you are trying to justify it

Recorded crime stats don’t support what you say and victims of sexual assault have lifelong anonymity. Prosecutions are in open court, and crime committed by migrants is widely reported. I attend court regularly myself and have many friends in the CPS and who are solicitors.

You seem to be suggesting that crimes are being concealed from the public. That would require an enormous conspiracy which - if you’ve not blown the whistle - you are part of. That would be reprehensible. So you’re either a liar or complicit in something dreadful and likely criminal.

Well done.

I hate these thuggish protestors. If you're so sure you're right, you should have the courage to show your face.

But, this is how we estimate population views. Usually it's not as many as 5,000.

Thuggish protesters who committed no actual thuggery - get over yourself.

A net across the sea was slightly tongue in cheek. As I hoped I made clear by saying luckily Im not in charge. But gorgeous of you to give it your wise assessment as to the prospects of success 🤣.

The main role of government is to defend the country. And many people have described the influx of undocumented males from countries we have recently been at war with and who may not have our best interests at heart as an invasion. I think at this stage, given the government has clearly failed in defending our borders and doesn't seem to have the intention or will to do much about it, the military are entirely appropriate and a perfectly good use of their time. They can check what the Russian subs going through the Channel are up to at the same time.

Just because many people think that the small boats issue is a national security threat warranting a change in military strategy, that doesn't make it so. The government probably thinks that the military is better utilised defending the country doing what it's already doing.

I'm pretty sure that the government does have the intention to do something about it. Apart from anything else it would be extremely good for them politically. And they have reduced small boat crossings by 40% this year to prove it. But it is extremely hard to eradicate this issue. So far the best ideas we have jointly come up with over and above doing what the government is already doing are a) do something undefined with the military and b) build a giant net.

@ElizaMulvil ‘Many countries allow asylum seekers to work either immediately or very quickly.eg
Australia, Canada, Sweden, Portugal - almost immediately’

——————————

This doesn’t sound correct vis a vis Australia.

Australia does off shore processing for claimants, using other countries such as Nauru. Claimants cannot enter Australia at all if they are illegal, never mind immediately get the green lights to work. I’m not sure they can even resettle in mainland Australia if they have tried to previously enter illegally.

Australia allows asylum seekers to enter the country before a protection claim is granted only if they arrive with a valid visa, like a work or student one.

I refer you back to what I already said.

‘Yes, but would massively reduce arrivals and therefore speed up decision making. Likelihood is that irregular arrivals would not be accepted and therefore could be removed.’

How many people accepted by the other method would ‘massively reduce arrivals’?
