Masked men at Dover - KKK vibes

They are utter cowards and hypocritical. The same ilk will state they're against the burkha and protests by environmental groups etc. but are happy to mask their faces in 'protest' the reality is they're just nasty specimens of humanity, full of people with self righteous white supremacy tendencies. AIBU.

No I don't get great vibes from the men at Dover. I equally don't get the greatest vibes from the thousands of unknown men every year arriving on our shores.

I was thinking this.

Also that the right to protest is not as extensive as it once was and Starmer opened the Labour government’s term of office with an absolute clampdown on protests. If these men showed their faces would they be straight to jail? Of course there were questions about the organisation of those protests, with the timing.

Nothing is simple nowadays, and in reality, the inclusion of large numbers of men from all over the world without any integration is one of the (several) reasons why not.

So you’re ok with pro pally /antifa thugs shouting abuse/ covering faces but these people who are protesting to stop the criminal treasonous abuse of our borders is thuggish —- hmmm ok then

Who said I was ok? You've just made that up. Don't let facts get in the way of thinly veiled whataboutery.

No more than the Palestinian demos in central London recently

Fridgemanageress · Yesterday 14:28

Every demonstration that has happened in the last few years everyone has had their faces covered.

Thankfully our country is still a democratic society where within the law, freedom of speech is acceptable.

There are plenty of countries around the world where freedom of speech is not allowed, women rights are non existent, and people are dictated too how they choose to live their lives.

whatever yours or my opinion of these demos, we do have the freedom to protest - be very careful siding with people who want to erode peoples rights

OP look the thugs on the left do this too. Also threatening and cowardly. The amount of women’s rights things I’ve been to and the men turn up with their black masks and outfits threatening any women for centering women (rather than the men with special lady feelz) this is not a right or left behaviour but it is male behaviour

Sounds like you're a supporter of this outlandish behavior? Shame on you.

Unfortunately we are past the point of no return. They are not listening. The situation is incredibly dangerous.

Something more has to be done and there are going to be dire consequences.

Oh don’t be so dramatic.

The song that comes to mind is We’re Not Gonna Take It by Twisted Sister.

It does feel very threatening and I would feel very uncomfortable being anywhere near them. Religious reasons apart, people only cover their faces and heads when they do not wish to be identified, presumably because know they are doing, or will be tempted to do, something illegal and ominous. I find all this far right behaviour very disturbing.
