She got what was coming to her though, according to those unwilling to condemn the violence meted out to her. Robert Jenrick's reaction was absolutely deplorable, not unsurprising though. That says a lot about the type of person he is. No condemnation from the top tier of that ghastly party.

The protester was exercising her democratic right to protest peacefully. She had the right to be there, she had bought a ticket.
I don’t want to be part of a society that condones physical violence against people voicing their beliefs in a peaceful and legal way. That is a very slippery slope.

Fascism is a far-right, authoritarian, and ultranationalist political ideology. That description accurately describes Farage and his followers, particularly the ones who attacked the protester, not the climate change protester herself.

I would wager that whatever he thought his motive was, the cause was his mental health.

I remain sad that AW died a horrific death as she did but fail to see how it justifies the threat of the country voting in a fascist or near fascist party.

Jenrick confirmed the footage was genuine by his dismissal of the assaults and his implication that the women had it coming . If the footage was fake he would have said so.
