AIBU to share this Reform exposé from C4?

To share this fantastic documentary exposing Reform for the crooks and traitors that they really are. Thank you for sharing @ihateboris

The thing with Reform is that they say whatever they think they need to say, and worry about the consequences afterwards. This has been their MO throughout. Big statements prefaced with "I'm telling you..." Ridiculous 'pledges' with no explanation as to how they'll deliver on them.
They rely on simple popular messages shouted loudly and repeated often so they embed. At the moment it's "I assure you, no wrong has been done". When more proof emerges it will be "I absolutely refute it". They say what they like and that's enough for some.

What could a person of conscience in Reform who was inadvertently in the loop do at this point? Because if nothing definite happens they are very compromised if they speak up.

If he has received legal advice that says he has done nothing wrong, then perhaps he should be clear about who has provided that legal advice and publish the advice that was received.

Otherwise, it simply isn't credible.

When Keir Starmer was heckled and showered in glitter at his party conference, he reacted with calm composure. When Theresa May was heckled by a protestor who got close enough to hand her a p45 she kept going with dignity.

Neither protestor was grabbed at by angry crowds.

Reform’s reaction to peaceful protest was not that of a strong, stable party ready for government.

This is who Reform are. This is what they stand for.

They don't really care about freedom of speech. They don't really care about the protection of women.

Yes, they're fascists. Angry pathetic men, same with all the thugs at Dover this morning. Wasters without anything actually going on in their own lives. They could get friends, hobbies, jobs and improve their own lives but instead choose to go and terrorise people. They're fascist scum and we need to stop calling them protesters!

I definitely am. I’ve met and worked with asylum seekers. Had nothing but respect. And yes, I live near a hotel. I’ve been sworn at and threatened by the anti-immigrant reform type though.

If the police open an investigation then witnesses will be interviewed as they would with any investigation. Providing an accurate and truthful account will be down to those witnesses. But as with most things these days there will be records - as well as recordings! - of much of it.

No, so far, they have stated that they are assessing the evidence. But it's hard to see how they could not investigate, given the strength of the evidence.

There is already another criminal investigation underway into the Cottrell donations, so not sure if they will open a new one or potentially expand the scope of the existing one.

I guess the police will need to assess the existing evidence carefully to ensure that there is robust justification for committing the resource for a full investigation. They will be very mindful of ensuring that anything they do can't be misconstrued as being politically motivated - and we know that Reform will definitely seek to make that case, so the police need to ensure that their own position is watertight.

Farage and co were invited to comment on the C4 investigation before it aired, so I imagine that any evidence which could be destroyed would have been zapped before the story even broke.
