Any other London folk mortified by the Notting Hill carnival? Hundreds of arrests, lewd behaviour, vulgarity and litter. It does not represent my culture. It’s an embarrassment.

I think vote shows the vast majority agree with you. You are not being unreasonable.
The Notting Hill Carnival should be relocated so that it can be more easily policed.( for the sake of everyone’s safety)

Ive not been to the Rio carnival-
If it’s during the day and in streets inhabited by families then I would find the virtually nudity and gyrating / stimulating sex acts very uncomfortable. I guess the masks and costumes could add an almost demonic edge .
