To think Tim Curry in Rock Horror was something else?

Since Tim's passing last week, I had a mind to re-watch Rocky Horror Picture Show

And dear god, that man does something to me. 😜

Im not into Tim Curry in anything else, Im not into men cross dressing/transvestitism. Neither are a "thing" for me. But what.is.it.about.Tim.Curry.in.Rocky.Horror? Seriously. He makes me shiver with antici...pation! 😂😂

Please tell me there's at least someone out there in mumsnet world that agrees so I dont feel so alone...
Or tell me im weird...I dunno.

I must be the odd one out… I don’t find anything attractive about him in RH. Great acting, but a man in women’s underwear makes my fanny clamp shut 😆

I always fancied Rooster in Annie 😂 and I was dumbfounded to learn as I got older it was Tim Curry! RIP.

Yes ! We watch Rocky Horror every New Years Eve , it’s strangely been my 18 yr old DD favourite film since she was 11 and walked in on my dad and I watching it one day . Not my kink but there’s something so sexy about a man that confident in stockings and suspenders

First husband loved it and liked to rewatch the video (that ages me!) but one viewing was more than enough for me.

Me too! I was drawn to him.

Also, in my early 20s, I was disturbed to find myself somewhat attracted to Herr Flick in Allo Allo, who sometimes wore a corset and stockings. But my unease wasn't due to the cross-dressing, it was because Herr Flick was an officer in the Gestapo. 😬

You are not alone! I love him generally and think he’s pretty sexy in anything to be honest but this was something else entirely. Incredibly sexy and charismatic.

On the radio last week, they played a clip of him singing in the Rocky Horror Show. It was so impressive. He was amazing in it (they all were).

I can't ever be sexually attracted to a cross dressing man, but as the character he's just magnetic, like he was in everything.

Yes, I always feel like I blush a little bit watching him in Rocky Horror! I do quite like a man wearing something a bit feminine - painted finger nails, a really floral shirt, even Eddie Izzard years ago in lipstick - it gives off such an attractive confidence. But Tim Curry....

I was 18 and returned home one evening after a night out. Mum was in bed, Dad was still up and I turned on the TV to see something, I didn't know quite what it was, but I remember being blown away. My Dad on the other hand pulled a face and made noises of disapproval. Since then I have watched it so many times, been to the live shows and absolutely adored Tim Curry. His presence in Rocky Horror was just outstanding.
