Yes I'm waiting for someone to say that, of course we have male rapists in the UK but it not deemed normal or acceptable in modern society, we have enough of our own without importing any more..in some cultures women are just viewed as male property to be used and raped at their pleasure, marrying off females at 9 years old is seen as normal, we don't want those values in the UK..

The migrants have phones ,the internet and they have real human contacts and networks .

They don't need mumsent or anything like us to tell them what they can get here.

Which is housing, money ,food ,doctors a bus to the local town and somerimes games thrown in .

And we can't "make" France do anything, @Parker231, though we could certainly stop paying them millions to take measures they've no intention of adopting.
As ever the French will prioritise what suits them - something we could perhaps learn from - but I'm not sure what's to stop us intercepting boats, towing them back to the French coast and leaving them there. I don't imagine they'd be pleased, but with enough effort the issue could well solve itself once it was absorbed that they're really not going to reach the UK like this

Why do you say Reform are the only ones talking about it? That isn't remotely true.
Reform loudly promise things that they can't deliver, but that doesn't mean they are the only ones talking about it.

It also worries me that the only people who will talk about it are Reform. I think the reluctance of parties to talk about the issues will push people onto reform even if they don't agree with them, as they are the only party talking about it.

I am concerned for women and girls. I live in a tiny village of 700 people which will now have a 1500 asylum camp for single men in the middle of it. The village is isolated and you can't get to anywhere else from it. I have 4 daughters. My teenagers will probably have to stop biking, meeting their friends in the park and have the new found teenage independence taken away from them. I don't think it is racist to have concerns about the scale of this and how it will totally skew the demographic of a community. Women and girls will be outnumbered 6 to 1. Living rurally most of our hobbies involve walking the dog along the filed and lanes. But it is very isolated. I have seen the news and stats that asylum seekers from the countries that will be in this camp are over-represented in crime statistics, particularly sex crimes. I'm not without sympathy for the state of the countries these people are coming from like Yemen, Afghanistan etc. I think it must be truly awful there. But like someone above says two things can be true at the same time. Huge numbers of single men with nothing to do from very different cultures are not going to have no impact on the communities they are put in. The world is changing hugely and for all sorts of reasons more people are going to be coming. We need to really consider the implications of it

Probably should have a word with the dead, who declared all these people British subjects and gave them the right to citizenship. Britain is only the wealthy successful country it is now because of its Empire. Without the Empire, it would be a backwater country with very little wealth - it's not a country filled with resources. It's wealth was built through Empire.

Views like yours are dangerous. Why shouldn't people born here have equal rights just because they have more melanin than you? You aren't superior because you have white skin.

I assure you people from India and Carribean were also not asked if they wanted British people to colonise their country.

A long-term solution is making the relevant laws and getting the knowledge out there that they cannot access benefits, state-provided housing and cannot bring family members .

Short-term they should absolutely not be able to wander freely when we do not know their background. That is madness and dereliction of duty to public safety.

Further any off-shore processing must be investigated. Falkland Islands maybe?

But mainly axe the incentives.
