Can’t stand husband 😂 anyone else

Sure, but not to the point that you're bitching about them online and going on and on about how you can't stand them.

If a woman came on here saying she'd heard her husband bitching about her like this, everyone would be saying how awful he was and that she should leave him and find someone who actually like and respects her.

It sounds like you might have the ick. There’s no coming back from that.

The 2 things that husband has pissed me off with this week while on holiday.

1. Tuesday night had a nightmare and literally was flailing his arms and legs everywhere, lucky I didn’t get socked in the back of the head. Bunked in my DD’s room since.
2. This morning my DD commented when I got up that “Dad says you’ve always got an excuse for being tired”. I went fucking mental at him for his lack of empathy, I’ve had blood tests trying to investigate why I’m always tired and trying to get to the bottom of it. Starting to think maybe the reason is because I’m married to a wanker.

All these holier than thou replies yawn.

If my partner felt like this about me I'd be devastated.

For his own sake, leave him so he can find someone who actually likes him.

I'm pretty sure I'm heavily medicated..just to cope with him

The other thing he does as well ..is any decent healthy meals,that I make for the family.. lasagne, cottage pie ,meat pie , casserole ect
He started saying.. before I started cooking..he wanted pizza or burgers or chips .or both ..this got to the point where he was dictating every meal ..my food bill had shot up and it's pizza or burgers every night ..
So I stopped buying pizza and burgers and chips
Plus ...I don't waste food ever ...
So all the times he was refusing the home cooked meals ,I made them anyway for the kids ,but just froze the leftovers.
So the freezer is now full of individual meals ..he's having to take to work for his lunch ..no point buying more food when the freezer is full

This is so sad.

I would be heartbroken if my DH spoke of me like this.

Mine ..had this habit of eating salt and vinegar crisps in bed with ketchup to dip in.
It upset me so much I often ended up in tears ... despite me asking him not to ,he carried on eating in bed .
So as I am the only person who ventures in to a supermarket
I just stopped buying anything he ate in bed
We got as far as never having bread in the house , before he realised every time he ate in bed I didn't buy the food items again..
We got there in the end ...

Dp and I genuinely live in a bubble of pink mutual appreciation and extremely rare annoyance (I annoy him occasionally but frankly I would try the patience of a saint). That’s because our children are adults, our parents are nearly all dead, we have plenty of money, we’ve only been together 6 years so still fancy each other, and I don’t have periods any more. It’s normal enough to have moments of hate when you’re in the trenches buried under nappies, bills, his mother, hormone tides and emails from primary school about Wrld Fcking B*k Dy.

Aside from the black and white mix up - which would piss me right off...

He's woken up and cooked breakfast for the children and you've gone out to drink coffee and read a book in a coffee shop. Tonight he will buy a nice takeaway. Regarding the milk, have you never forgotten anything in the supermarket?

A friend at lunch randomly said of her husband ‘ I think Vincent is …. Really stupid’

I must admit I struggled to see the love. I guess marriage is a curates egg!

I think it's natural to be irritated at times mine used to annoy the life out of me at times and I'm sure he would have said the same. Then he died and now I wish he was here doing all of the minor grievances that annoyed me.

When I read posts like this with that random "I love him" in the midst of all the loathing I wonder what posters think love means? To me "I love him" can't really coexist with "I can't stand him". The latter goes way beyond the usual minor annoyances.

If you really can't stand someone you shouldn't be in a relationship with them. If you choose to be in a relationship with someone then tolerating their various habits is the bare minimum.

I know exactly when my period is due as I get the desire to put mine under the patio.

Being irritated sometimes is normal but loathing him most the time is concerning!

Oh and....he didn't get up until ten mins ago. That in itself pissed me right off 😂

I got home from work late last night, he'd WFH and had picked our you gest up from nursery.
I got in to damp washing all over the house, hanging off the table, back of the sofa, on the kitchen bench because he was being helpful.
I'd text him and said can you stick the full lot in the dryer and had already sorted the non dryer stuff out. He'd left the dry towels in said dryer as well. He'd also fed our youngest and left everything on top of the fucking dishwasher.
His breathing often annoys me and if he leaves his socks in my hallway today I will not be responsible for my actions.

We do have a clothes horse btw and a heated airer 🫠

And the snoring…makes me wonder whether I would get caught if I suffocated him with my pillow.

But then I wouldn’t get the absolute gems such as ‘I remembered our anniversary just after midnight but I didn’t want to say happy anniversary in case you wanted to have sex with me’ 😂🤣 so I let him live.

As we were trying to go to sleep last night he kept yawning and making this clicking noise. I was this far from punching his head into the pillow.

I’m surprised how seriously some people are taking the post. I honestly could cheerfully have murdered mine when the children were tiny and he would be asleep. That was it. Asleep. It made me murderous.

Also considered divorce when he ate crisps after I got baby ds to sleep.

Love DH, but this morning he has really got on my fucking nerves it isn't even 10:00 AM yet.

in no particular order these are the things he has done so far to annoy me:

Made a huge mess in the kitchen when making pancakes for the children's breakfast.

Told me we are almost of milk- he was in a supermarket yesterday.

Put a load of white laundry in with his dark stuff with out any qualms at all he was trying to be "helpful "

Asked what's for dinner tonight, as he didn't really fancy what's on the meal plan tonight.

DH will be sorting out all of the above. He will be cooking or buying everyone a take away tonight he can fuck off if he thinks I am sorting any of this out!

Meanwhile I am sat in the coffee shop enjoying a coffee and a cake reading my book and I don't intend to walk slowly home until lunch time.
