Oh Andy, Andy, Andy.. just Why?

You'd never heard of him?! He was in the cabinet almost 20 years ago, stood for Labour leadership twice, was heavily involved in Hillsborough and was Manchester Mayor for a decade. It's hard to believe that anybody could be so disengaged from current affairs, but it perfectly demonstrates exactly why an in your face social media strategy is needed.

Honestly I get the reasoning. But that’s what annoys me so much - just because you are not politically savvy doesn’t mean you need your leader playing with a little bus to convey that the message is about buses.

I want him to do well. I’m just not sure that building little Lego houses or cosplaying being a shop worker or a bit part in High Noon is way to do it.

The rest is politics Alastair Cambell really? Dr David Kelly! No it is not working well at all. Most people are watching and thinking what the heck? Think he needs to seriously get rid of his social media team as they are making him a laughing stock. Christ we have bigger problems than him with his Lego houses and the bloody buses? why no mention of the Russian Ambassador being recalled by Russian? No mention of the economic state of the country? This guy is a complete joke! Politics Students will be studying Burnham, only to see his mistakes, Health Secretary, Staffordshire Scandal, also privatisation of parts of the NHS. Manchester, homeless up, ULEZ 104 mill wasted, GMP in special measures, grooming gangs. Most 18-34 year olds think he is a joke.

Manchester has been Labour since the 1970s maybe earlier, so no surprise there, although there are a lot of us in Greater Manchester who despair of his policies. Also depends which poll you are looking at? Have to disagree that he is the most popular politician in the country? Burnham Bounce will be over very quickly if he doesn’t get the economy kick started. Which his Lego houses and buses will not do.

And as for his record in Greater Manchester, he won 3x elections with a majority of over 60% each time, because most people in Manchester liked what he was doing for their region.

It’s an unbelievably time efficient way for a Prime Minister to communicate with a massive audience.

Literally ANYONE but Labour - anyone at alll. My dog, your dog, the pet rabbit would do a better job. They are an absolute disgrace and have no idea what they are doing. They should just do the right thing, and call an election, and put country before party.

I like him. He has twinkly eyes and has mastered the capsule wardrobe. Not so sure about the guitar action but if it makes him happy…

My point is that his SM is pants. Using little toys as visual mnemonics is patronising and facile. His SM team need to raise their game.

Starmer is not lacking capability.

But I don’t want to unfollow.

I want him to be better. I want to see him being better. If I unfollow I might miss the moment when his comms become better and that would make me sad. I don’t want to be sad.

I want Labour to do well and get more than one term in office in order to make big changes to our society. I worries that if he is spending time building little LEGO houses and practising his cowboy throw then he’s not actually doing big things. He’s just communicating about everyday stuff through the medium of little things.

And don't even get me started about Louise Haigh whom is convicted of fraud. You really couldn't make this up. I would love to say they are doing a good enough job, given the stakes are so high, but even labour voters are floundering and struggling to find a single positive. It is an unholy mess and we have been taken over by the hard far left. We have every right to be horrified and furious.
They knew they would never get into No 10 without a stitch up and here we are.

Now I feel that I am veering off topic, my beef being the use of certain props to liven up our PM’s insta feed.

It’s many years of Conservative Party policies coupled with nutters at the helm in Russia and the USA that got us in the mess we are in.

Mr Starmer and then Mr Burnham as PM are trying to unravel the mahoosive pile of poo left behind by your lot. It takes more than a couple of years to sort that sort of stuff out. It really does.

From where I am standing all that I can see Kemi doing is slag off the opposition (I refer you to her insta feed to verify this) without at all acknowledging that she’s in the team of the guys that effed it up in the first place.
