They are children. Children should not have their faces on social media when they are to young to agree to it. It dosent matter who their parents are or if they are part of the royal family.

Quite and as you say they're then ensconced for life unless they take the vanishingly rare decision to stand down.

I would however be quite happy to let a monarch or any other royal stand as a candidate in an election for HoS and see whether those oft quoted popularity polls really do stack up.

People have been saying that since those kids were born though! Why would you think no one has offered them 'squillions' yet? Surely they would do it when they were cute toddlers/babies? They are nearly at school. And why would someone offer them squillions' unless they knew that they could make that back easily? Which means there is huge interest in them.

Oh be fair. Those kids faces are worth squillions to M and H. Would you stand on the street and hand out £20 notes to strangers? Because unless M and H very carefully control access to their kids faces that what they would be doing, I think the little faces will be kept secret until some commercial entity agrees to pay up big time for the opportunity. They are practically the last bargaining chip the Sussex brand holds, so they are not going to play it until the price is right. They are probably spitting feathers that Charles’ crew kept control of the photos of their meeting, imagine it, the children AND their grandad, pure gold.

The King is Head of State. Most countries have a Head of State. They don't need to be supported by their entire extended family. The rest of them should be cut loose. The only reason the kids are even involved in this circus is because they know that wheeling out some cute kids is the best way to cling on to their popularity and keep the whole nonsense going for as long as they can. .

Other people in the media have had more control over what is seen. Harry's situation is unique in that he was born into a role he don't choose and has massively suffered more than most people in the west at least but Megan chose limelight. So it's an interesting conundrum. But we should all be able to choose our media exposure

Yes more negativity. If a president attracts negativity they can be voted out. We are stuck with a monarch for their life for better or worse. It is only a matter of time until we get a criminal like Andrew as monarch......who will be above the law.

Unite the country? They can't even unite themselves, having had a very public falling out. One of them has been creditably accused of serious sex crimes against trafficked women, and will almost certainly never face any justice having been protected by the rest of them. When the first accusations were made our head of state branded the alleged victim as a liar.

I don't think much of any of them but H&M are the least bad because at least they don't cost the taxpayer anything....and I feel empathy for anyone who like them have been the victims of a years-long media hate campaign. It doesn't take much (just them moving back to the UK) to set it all off again. This thread is just one example of the results, we are now reading about the supposed cosmetic surgery MM has had; it is a degrading read.

The rest are only good for running a money-grubbing racket siphoning the maximum amount of taxpayer cash, whilst fooling the country that they are somehow responsible by doing a minimal amount of pretend work from time to time.

She WAS really pretty and that WAS 3 noses ago. Plastic surgery should be called out. MM has no need of any surgery she was and still is very attractive but her repeated surgeries have made her less not more. It's not nasty it's pure fact and should not only be acknowledged but shouted from every roof top to stop more young women falling down that rabbit hole. The pressure young girls come under is an awful by product of already beautiful women who have chosen to put themselves in the public eye choosing repeated surgeries. There was nothing wrong with her original nose.

Harry and Meghan are self-funded. They don't take any 'taxpayer' money. And even if they did, it doesn't buy you access to their kids. Stop being weird.
