To ask your advice regarding induction ranges?

We are doing up our kitchen and will be able to fit a 110cm range. There's no gas line and we want to go with induction. I have budget up to about £5k for this due to economising on other aspects of the project.

Based on looks alone, I'm leaning towards a Range master Estel Deluxe with gold trim. Here's a link for reference:

However, I once had a brand new dual fuel Rangemaster that gave me no end of problems from the start.

Does anyone have views or info on Rangemaster induction ranges? Do you have a different induction range that you recommend? Any and all advice welcome!!!

We have a falcon 110 induction and I really like it. Having actual knobs to control the hobs is a must for me. I hate those crappy touch controls.

Has been no trouble until this year when one of the five hobs has gone and repair man couldn't fix it. It's 9 years old and makes at least two cooked meals a day plus baking, so not perfect reliability but still good.

I have never even heard of Mercury! I will look that up now.

My Rangemaster all electric is 11yo and so far no issues. It also still looks like new.

I've read good things about Falcon, and the fact that it's semi-professional is appealing.

Oh, thanks for sharing your experience. I wonder if the build quality is still that good!
