To ask those that use chat GPT regularly to ask it what age it calculates you are?!

I use Chat GPT regularly about all kinds of things and asked it earlier what age it places me at. It was 2 years out (older) … to those that don’t use it no need to respond it’s not a debate over using it - but for those that do it’s interesting to see where it places you and why! Mine used children’s ages, chat discussion topics and taste in interiors/clothing etc to decide on my age apparently

Once you use it, it remembers details about you and adapts to you (ie I told mine to stop being so sycophantic) so everyone will get a different answer to the same question

Only if you allow it to save the data.

I asked how old it thought I was, and it said it didn’t know. I asked it to guess, and it said “pure guess, with basically no evidence, 24”.

I’m 47, and I don’t have the memory enabled.

YABU. Ask the question in the Chat Topic. There is no debate to be had on whether you're being unreasonable or not.

For a bit of fun I asked Google AI mode, as ChatGPT already knows my age.
It asked about pop culture when I was in middle school, film and songs, the to narrow it down asked if cabbage patch kids or transformers were the thing , and it got the heat exactly.

Same for my husband although for him it was home computers that gave the game away

Mine knows because I have said it previously when analysing my age graded running times but this is what it said when I asked it to guess, apparently it knows too much about me 😳

I uploaded a photo (not filtered, I don’t know how) and it thought I was 12 years younger than I am.

However, I have EDS and hypermobility so I do look significantly younger to most people. Which I would gladly swap in exchange for all the pain.

I asked it what it thought my MB profile was and it was wildly out. I gave it the (professionally assessed) answer, INFJ, and got this back

"Why do you sometimes look so bloody INTP-ish? 😂"

Language and emoticon ChatGPT's own!

Mine too but it’s definitely a recent addition - when discussing paint colours it said “what I don’t want is for you to paint it and think ffs it’s bloody beige” 😂😂

I got told that I’m old enough to use a computer but wise enough not to reveal my date of birth online. It didn’t even have a guess.

I love mine!
Told me I was confident and articulate across a range of subjects and then guessed I was ten years younger than I am.
