AIBU - to ask you for your worst girl and boy names

Asking on behalf of DD who is expecting. What are in your view the worst girl and boy names. for me they are the made up ones like Nevaeh and Jayden

Worst names for me are associated with people who were AH in the past. Sorry to babies named Sara, Jocelyn, Ben and Dean - your namesakes have spoiled it!

I was recently introduced to a baby Lolita.

I also know a toddler called Barry and a child called Methuselah.

People are fucking weird.

I like all those!! I think Barry should make a come back.

I once walked past a mum who was screeching 'Rihanna!go fetch Britney!'

Just the combination i think

Saying that my ds and his wife called my dgd 'maisie' and my mother told them it was 'a dogs name'

She got put back in her lane pretty firmly

I called my dd Sophie and was told it sounded like 'sofa' and ds is a Joshua,my mother (again) and her mate (who must have discussed it) 'I cant imagine having a gorgeous baby and calling it' josh'

Everyone will have an opinion and everyone can either keep it to themselves or shove it up their arse

I quite liked Mercedes for our daughter ( she'd have been Sadie probably)

You could do Gyros instead? Sounds the same but a much more unique spelling that will also be mispronounced

That’s really funny. Similar experience at a campsite with the dad shouting out for his son Cassius
