To report my colleagues fantasy football team name?

We have a work fantasy football league, it’s advertised on the internal intranet site and emails were sent around about sign up details etc.

The league has gone live tonight so you can see everyone’s team including their team names.

A colleague has a team name which references stopping the boats - would it be wrong of me to report this?

We are on a thread about a man who can't even participate in workplace FF without having to bring in immigration. On the same thread, people can't even comment about whether political statements are appropriate in the workplace without using it as an opportunity to bang their own drum about immigration. This crosses from ordinary people being 'concerned' to it being obsessive. Most people are concerned. Most people don't feel the need highlight this one issue incessantly.

It's probably a joke relating to someone. You don't even understand the context. Plus people are entitled to their opinion. It's a political opinion not a targeted or bigoted point. You would make such a fool of yourself if you report this.

It’s the policy of all mainstream parties, and a lot of humanitarian charities, and the large majority of the population.

A tiny tiny tiny fraction of any race you mention has ever crossed in a small boat or ever would. It’s both reckless and illegal.

It’s like calling me racist if I say I oppose shoplifting. It reveals your own assumptions.

Because there is bound to be some screeching lefite objecting . You know the type, refugees welcome but not anywhere near my town. And considering people have been arrested for having legitimate opinions, you cant be too careful

Given that immigration has consistently ranked as no.1 or no.2 on voter concerns for the last few years, I think the 'obsessed' minority might be those humming with their fingers plugged in their ears.

I would imagine the person choosing the name supports “Nige” and therefore is a tosser.

The FF name has no need to mention Nige really did it.

This would be against policy - you could shoot a quick note to a friendly HR person rather than officially reporting?
But actually, why get involved? Someone else will see this and it’ll get changed.
