No we do not have a safe culture for women in the UK - NEVER HAVE (although its arguably got slightly better in the last 20 years) but in large part women are not seen as equal or respected.

Do the 12/13 year old girls who've been kidnapped on their way to school and raped, care about that? Or the children given no protection coming out of school? You wouldn't leave your 13 year old DD to walk around most African countries, or Pakistan, but we allow the same men to congregate around schools and parks.

Agree we have loads of homegrown perverts, why we need to increase the total number of perverts is beyond me. No-one should get a free pass because of their skin colour, including ethnic minority men. If you commit a crime as a non Uk national you should be sent to jail and then deported. If you come as an asylum seeker and then go raping then I’m going to struggle to take your claims of vulnerability seriously.

Statistically as a British woman you are most likely to be raped and/or murdered by your husband or partner, and children under 5 statistically are more likely to be murdered by a parent.

They haven’t a clue. They easily walk through the world, day or night, without the need for hyper vigilance that most women have had to develop. They don’t have to scan every unknown man for danger. They don’t feel the possibility of being unsafe the moment they walk out their front door. And because they’ve never had to deal with these things, they are blind to than, largely unaware that women have to cope with this every single day.
