I don’t think it’s necessary, because as I’ve said all groups of men come with risk and reward and there is no perfect system.

Where have I proposed a barrier to change? I’ve said the only way - given the scale of existing checks and the inability of any check to predict with 100% accuracy - is to ban all men from perceived high risk countries. That means from seeking asylum, coming here on a visa for work or education, or coming for a holiday. That’s quite a big change. I’m asking if you support that.

I'm not a politician so no point making suggestions. All I can do is vote accordingly for the best option to stop these men arriving in their thousands.

I don’t think it’s controversial necessarily, but I’m surprised no-one who is so convinced that, eg, men from Afghanistan automatically are a greater risk, has suggested it.

Yes, and I’m saying the only system that can keep women and girls completely safe is one that keeps them away from men.

That might look like a country ban (which would be for all men from that country). But if we want to keep women and girls safe in the UK we also need to look at more single sex provision, in schools, hobbies, maybe even transport.

There is no check or test that will identify every person who will go on to commit a terrible crime, just as there isn’t for men born in the Uk.

Home grown British men statistically are just as prone (perentage wise) to commit violent crimes as immigrants surely?! Your post sounds extremely racist.

I’d go for more checking, if they can’t be sure don’t choose that person. There are millions who’d like refuge.

Your risk and reward comment, how much do you gloss over the risk because it’s happening to others. I don’t think a woman being attacked with a glass is ok, and the other crimes.

Perfectly said and the same position as me. It’s like an elephant in the room. Im not bothered about being called racist - they can be any colour skinned or ethnicity they are- it’s their behaviour that bothers me, and coming from cultures that doesn’t respect women and values life.
