To think Meghan Markle has every right to worry about her security?

I’m not a monarchist and haven’t really taken much notice of the whole saga, but obviously do know the main points.

However, the comments across Mumsnet and multiple newspapers and websites are absolutely insane and unhinged. People who don’t know them insisting she’s leaving Harry and the kids, is controlling him, that they’re skint and tge
kids will have to go to state school if Charles doesn’t pay, people saying they hope a random stranger sees her and gives her ‘some home truths’.

It is absolutely crackers and I worry about the sanity of the people who seem to really believe they know them.

No one is suggesting anything different. They are paying for it.

Well that’s good then isn’t it. Everyone’s a winner.🏅

I’m mildly interested in celebrity gossip, yes. Love a bit of drama. So I clicked on the Harry and Meghan thread, and it was utterly insane. Properly batshit. As were comments on the newspaper stories. Hence the thread.

Hope this helps.

Well it doesn’t help you and you seem to be getting a bit hysterical about two people you don’t know and you are the one calling others mentally ill or unhinged. Why don’t you calm down and come back with an argument that doesn’t rely on insults and maybe people will take you seriously.

If so then they pay for it or they remain in America where they also pay for it. It really isn’t that difficult
is it?

It’s not about it changing. It’s about prioritising where it goes and two rich adults with no proper jobs who flunked out of being working royals shouldn’t be a priority when hospitals, schools and public services are underfunded.

Yes, taxes should only be spent on the good royals who sponge properly.

💯 if or when one of the family is hurt, you’ll have the 1000’s of people who are encouraging the hate offering sympathy online.
The Daily mail should be band from hounding them without a current or relevant news source over the daily obsessive BS.

It would be Diana all over again.

Absolutely
they’ll be selling their sorry again soon
we went back to the uk and were rejected so we’ve come back to the USA
that’ll be next
after the king has bank rolled them no doubt
I’m sure it’s all engineered

It doesn’t make any difference to us though.

And you aren’t one suppose? Also using mental heath as a weapon against others indicates your inability to argue a point without resorting to childish insults. It’s pathetic and it reflects on you and only you.

There’s no reason at all to believe the public tax bill is changing.

And of course he’s a celebrity.

I apologise to all of those people who’ve been diagnosed as barking mad and are therefore insulted.

But there is something wrong mentally with people who get obsessed with celebrities to such a degree.

Yes, they have. Again, you haven’t been paying attention.

Could you direct me to where they’ve said this?

I’ve tried to find it myself, but can only see accusations of racism against the British press (and arguably unnamed members of the Royal Family). I can’t see anywhere that they’ve accused the British public of being racist?

Although plenty of them are.

They said that the British public is racist and that is why she had such a hard time here and they had to leave.
She’s batshit.

It is totally normal that people should be angry with them. The fact you don’t get it doesn’t make it ‘unhinged’. It just means you haven’t been listening.

Harry is not a celebrity.

As long as the British taxpayer is funding anything (£500k for electric prison vans in Albania for example) then they should get a say in it and have the right to an opinion. Unfortunately for Harry & Meghan that includes their security if we end up paying for it.

There’s no reason at all to believe the public tax bill is changing.

Seriously, it doesn't matter if someone posts that, really. Most people understand that H&M are multimillionaire aristocrats who'll never have to mingle with the plebs.

I was on Reddit one night and the subject of Harry and the army came up a bunch of guys hopped on to tell us that he did nothing in the army he wasn't allowed to and that guys would be forced to essentially be his babysitter so he didn't get himself killed 😂😂 they hated having him there

Must be true if it was on Reddit.

I just don't understand how the UK was too dangerous for her and the children 2 weeks ago, causing her to change travel plans last minute and cancel public engagements, but now they are moving here and enrolled in schools. Has the threat disappeared?

I don't have a strong opinion about either of them but they do seem to make a lot of noise for a couple who don't want public attention

This????
